What is TriFinance For Impact?

TriFinance For Impact is an ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that empowers our consultants to contribute their expertise, skills, and time to support small social organizations and start-ups during gaps between projects. Consultants use their professional knowledge to support causes aligned with our values, fostering lasting partnerships with organizations that share our vision for a better society.

It's a true win-win: our consultants engage in meaningful, real-world challenges that enhance their skills, while the organizations benefit from our services pro bono. This approach creates a positive societal impact while fostering the personal and professional growth of our Me inc.® professionals. Skills-based employee volunteering not only empowers the communities of our partners but also fosters personal growth of our consultants and strengthens the connection between purpose and profession.

Hear it from Julie

Julie Bastiaens, a TriHD consultant, shared how her involvement with TriFinance For Impact has enriched both her professional and personal development: “You’ll find yourself in environments where you wouldn’t typically go as a consultant.”

Julie worked with JINC, a partner organization that helps high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds prepare for the job market. She provided face-to-face coaching, guiding students through the application process. Reflecting on the experience, she said: "The appreciation from the students I trained has stuck with me the most. These are people whose stories are often remarkable, and being able to help them was deeply gratifying."

Pieterjan, another consultant, provided strategic financial support to Apojo, an NGO dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by offering meaningful work opportunities. His project focused on 't Hof, a community bakery that provides jobs to people with disabilities. Pieterjan worked to improve the profitability and efficiency of their finance department.

He noted that the experience was a valuable opportunity to hone his soft skills: “Clear communication and problem-solving were essential. I worked with individuals who took on financial roles out of necessity and passion, making it essential to explain finance concepts in a clear, accessible way.”

Hear it from Jurgen

Jurgen joined Rising You, a social enterprise in Antwerp that supports vulnerable individuals, such as refugees, by helping them gain employment in construction industries. By offering professional training in rope access and scaffolding, Rising You enables participants to earn certifications and secure sustainable jobs.

During his time with TriFinance For Impact, Jurgen streamlined volunteer processes by applying his expertise in Excel. He remarked: “By sharing my Excel knowledge, I helped Rising You’s volunteers work more efficiently.”
