Within our Business Unit Public, you will have the opportunity to realize your ambitions with more than 100 clients in the public and non-profit sector. Our team of 33 dedicated consultants provides operational support in finance, public procurement and HR. Additionally, we offer strong advisory services focused on financial planning and analysis, income and expenditure management, reporting and the people, processes and systems behind them. Your challenge
With over 10 years of experience in a commercial role within the public sector, you are a strong networker with strategic insight and commercial drive. As a Client Partner, you serve as the key connection between clients, our services and project consultants. You build lasting relationships, identify market trends and translate them into concrete solutions.You manage sales processes from A to Z, balancing 50% farming and 50% hunting. On the one hand, you strengthen existing relationships and build on long term collaborations. On the other hand, you proactively detect new opportunities and turn them into successful projects.
Thanks to your in-depth knowledge of the public sector, change management and organizational development, you provide tailored solutions that align perfectly with both our clients needs and our consultants growth trajectiories and motivations.
You coach and support consultants, ensuring they leverage their expertise effectively. Together with the internal Public Sector team, you define the strategy and growth of the business unit, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Your role in practice:
- Develop and manage strategic client relationships and networks within the public and non-profit sector, both at an official and political level;
- Oversee sales processes, including public procurement and tenders;
- Translate market needs into advisory projects, services and tailored solutions for your client portfolio;
- Guide and coach consultants on their projects;
- Conceptualize and shape projects related to change management, organizational development, finance and procurement. Experience in one of these areas? That's definitely a plus!
- Engage in stakeholder management at all levels, from operational staff to C-level executives and policymakers;
- Want to be hands-on in projects yourself? Whether as a sounding board, expert or project leader we value field experience and encourage your involvement;
Your profile
- Strong commercial mindset: You have extensive experience in business development and a natural talent for identifying and seizing commercial opportunities;
- Networker and connector: You've build a strong and valuable network and know how to establish and maintain long-term relationships. You engage stakeholders at a strategic level and bring the right people together to create impact. Networking isn't just a skill for you, it's your second nature;
- Critical thinker & decisive: In a flexible environment, you make well thought out decisions and clearly articulate your viewpoints;
- Strategic and analytical insight: You understand the challenges in the public sector and can translate them into tailored, well-founded solutions for clients;
- Strong communicator and negotiator: You can persuade, negotiate and present effectively across different levels;
- People manager and mentor: You support consultants in their professional development and help them grow in their roles;
- Experience with public procurement and tenders;
- In-depth knowledge of the public sector in Flanders and/or Brussels, preferably with experience or a network in the Flemish government, water companies or the healthcare sector;
- At least 10 years of experience: experience in a consultancy environment is a plus;
- Proven expertise in conceptualizing change management and organizational development projects. Knowledge of finance and procurement is an additional advantage;
