From my personal experience in managing ERP implementation projects over the past 15+ years, I can say these are among the most challenging yet rewarding projects you can take up as a project manager.

These days, ERP implementation projects are rarely just about technology. Instead, they are real (digital) business transformations which have a significant impact on an organization’s operational processes. These projects touch the very heart of the business and are of great strategic importance.
