In 2024, we dove deep into Learning & Development with seven insightful articles, exploring a variety of topics to inspire growth and innovation. To wrap things up, we’ve displayed the top 5 most-read pieces from our L&D Thursdays series, all in one place. Ready to (re)visit the highlights? Dive in and enjoy!
#1 Reshaping our Young Hub Week: Sharpen your consulting skills from day one
In an ever-changing world, we believe in continuous improvement. Next to implementing this mindset with our clients, we practice what we preach within our own company and revise our business processes and trainings regularly.
Instead of focusing mainly on hard skills, we moved towards consulting skills and soft skills, which we believe are vital for young graduates. Vital skills such as: interviewing, data analysis, presentation skills, project management,.…
#2 Me inc.® track: the result of continuous improvement
Over the years, we have created a very solid development track for young graduates joining us to gain their first experiences: our Young Hub program. As we are continuously evaluating our training possibilities, we realized we needed to develop a program for our new consultants who already have prior work experience before joining us as a TriFinance consultant. We created the Me inc.® track.
#3 The value of mentoring
At TriFinance, mentoring plays a crucial role in fostering the growth of our employees. Marjan Schollaert (Expert Manager XSU Care), Evelien Boon (Care Manager), and Jorn Hillaert (Project Manager), the driving forces behind the mentoring concept at TriFinance, share their insights.
#4 Conversation tables: language as a connecting factor
Pardon my French. Je n’ai pas compris. Wat zeg je? Language can often be a barrier, a hindrance in communicating with others. It can fuel certain insecurities and create noise on the communication line. But it doesn’t always have to be that way. Language can also be a way to connect or serve as an inspiration. At TriFinance and TriHD, learning culture goes far beyond hard skills and technical (professional) knowledge. To break down this language barrier and work on their soft skills at the same time, we immerse our employees in an informal language ‘bath’: the conversation tables.
#5 Empowering leaders: Inside our transformative Management Development Track
For this month’s feature on Learning & Development, we’re spotlighting our Management Development Track — a comprehensive, hands-on program designed to equip senior ‘me inc.'ers’ with practical skills to excel as leaders in our organization. This initiative is one of the many ways our organization prioritizes growth and empowers our people, giving them the tools to lead with confidence, empathy, and impact.
