For this month’s feature on Learning & Development, we’re spotlighting our Management Development Track — a comprehensive, hands-on program designed to equip senior ‘me inc.'ers’ with practical skills to excel as leaders in our organization.
This initiative is one of the many ways our organization prioritizes growth and empowers our people, giving them the tools to lead with confidence, empathy, and impact.
An inside look at the Management Development Track
The Management Development Track is a 4-day immersive program, specifically crafted for senior managers. This includes those new to people management as well as experienced managers looking to refine their leadership.
We’ve partnered with Beanmachine to create a program that doesn’t stop at theoretical knowledge; it’s deeply rooted in hands-on practice, covering the unique competences our organization values in its leaders.
Participants get to explore and practice leadership skills in the broadest sense of the word. Customer empathy, business acumen, and a deep dive into personal leadership style and preferences are the foundations at the beginning of the program. Banking on these insights the program then focuses on team dynamics and people skills enabling these leaders to coach and inspire others.
Inge Arys, Care Expert
The program provides valuable insights into the 8 Roles of the Leader, personalized style assessments, and strategies for effective communication and collaboration. These tools equip participants to navigate challenging environments and complex team dynamics, offering a well-rounded approach to leadership.
Personal Reflections: Olivier Renard & Inne Vermeiren
Two experienced colleagues who completed the Management Development Track, Olivier Renard and Inne Vermeiren, have been instrumental in keeping the learnings from the program alive within our community.
Beyond their growing roles at the client site and at TriFinance, they’re actively involved in supporting our management community, ensuring that the insights and strategies gained during training are shared, discussed, and put into practice regularly.
Olivier shares, “The Management Development Track was transformative — it pushed me to think differently about leadership. The hands-on approach with real-life scenarios was incredibly useful, and the group discussions were invaluable. Now, I get to carry forward those lessons, sharing what I’ve learned with others, both on my client engagements and within the business unit.”
Inne adds, “What stood out to me was the emphasis on personal style and communication. We all bring something unique to leadership, and this program helped me understand and leverage my strengths more fully. Today, I help others in the group apply these insights in their own roles and support the management team with strategic initiatives. It’s rewarding to be part of a community that values continuous development.”
Continuing the Journey
Olivier and Inne have chosen to collaborate with the Business Unit’s management team on business development initiatives and client-specific projects in the Financial Institutions sector. Their ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive management community is a testament to the lasting impact of the program. As part of their forward-thinking approach, they have also planned the spontaneous Community Intervisions initiative for 2025, which will further encourage dynamic exchanges and provide opportunities for real-time collaboration on challenging client situations, promoting growth and knowledge-sharing across all levels of the team.
Our Management Development Track is a powerful reflection of our company’s dedication to nurturing leadership at all levels. By building skills, creating communities, and enabling continuous development, we’re preparing our future leaders for success today.
