Your challenge

As an Operational Consultant in banking, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' Back & Middle Office Operations by ensuring business continuity & bringing business expertise for the banking transactions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Credits: ensure the efficient processing of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements, assess the creditworthiness, monitor credit portfolios to identify potential risks,...
  • Securities: ensure the settlement of securities transactions, safeguard customers' securities, manage corporate actions, perform daily reconciliations of securities transactions,...
  • Payments & Accounts: handle domestic and international payment transactions, oversee the opening, maintenance, and closing of customer accounts, perform reconciliations of payments and account transactions, manage interest calculations,...
  • Treasury & Financial Markets: confirm transactions, manage payments, ensure proper nostro & custody management, manage static data, ensure clearing & settlement, do collateral management, perform reporting tasks,…

Next to your project at the client, you will have the opportunity to further personally grow by fulfilling other roles within TriFinance itself:

  • Community Growth: contribute to the development and expansion of the TriFinance Banking Operations Community while expanding in parallel your own expertise.
  • Leadership: depending on your experience and ambition, you may also enter into consideration for mentoring other TriFinance consultants, to guide them in their own growth.

Your profile

  • Experience: a minimum of 3 years in Banking Operations, specifically within one or more of the following areas: Credits, Securities, Payments & Accounts and Treasury & Financial Markets.
  • Knowledge: a solid understanding of some key processes in Back & Middle Offices, such as clearing & settlement, collateral management, custody, reconciliation or reporting.
  • Tools proficiency: being familiar with some core tools is a plus: Thaler, Evolan, FIS, Sophis, Murex, Calypso, Avaloq, FRONTeO, T24, Olympic, IntelliMatch,...
  • Key attributes: a detail-oriented, pragmatic, and critical mindset, combined with a team player attitude.
  • Languages: Fluency in English, Dutch and French.
