Your challenge

  • Identifying, quantifying, evaluating, monitoring, and reporting in the field of nonfinancial and financial risk.
  • Performing and documenting risk assessments for various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establishing a culture of sound governance within the company and risk awareness among staff members.
  • Developing a risk management strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy including establishing measurable risk indicators for all risk types.
  • Designing and implementing effective internal controls aligned both to the internal Risk Appetite and the regulatory and supervisory expectations.
  • Facilitating gap- analysis and impact studies to address emerging regulatory changes.
  • Implementing action plans to address the increased supervisory expectations in fields such as credit risk, ESG risk, outsourcing risk, digital transformation, Operational Resilience and ALM.

Your profile

  • You have a minimum 5 years' experience in Risk Management and internal control within banking or insurance.
  • You have entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication skills, and adeptness in both independent and team environments.
  • You have a pragmatic, critical consultancy approach in evolving, regulated environments.
  • You have a strategic, conceptual business insight with a broad perspective.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and strong English skills are essential as our clients are in Brussels and Antwerp.
  • Flexibility is key.
