Your challenge
- Identifying, quantifying, evaluating, monitoring, and reporting in the field of nonfinancial and financial risk.
- Performing and documenting risk assessments for various internal and external stakeholders.
- Establishing a culture of sound governance within the company and risk awareness among staff members.
- Developing a risk management strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy including establishing measurable risk indicators for all risk types.
- Designing and implementing effective internal controls aligned both to the internal Risk Appetite and the regulatory and supervisory expectations.
- Facilitating gap- analysis and impact studies to address emerging regulatory changes.
- Implementing action plans to address the increased supervisory expectations in fields such as credit risk, ESG risk, outsourcing risk, digital transformation, Operational Resilience and ALM.
Your profile
- You have a minimum 5 years' experience in Risk Management and internal control within banking or insurance.
- You have entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication skills, and adeptness in both independent and team environments.
- You have a pragmatic, critical consultancy approach in evolving, regulated environments.
- You have a strategic, conceptual business insight with a broad perspective.
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and strong English skills are essential as our clients are in Brussels and Antwerp.
- Flexibility is key.
