Your challenge
- Performing core finance tasks and activities in banks and/or insurance companies, including accounting, controlling, budgeting and forecasting, costing, performance management, financial or management reporting and of course closing activities.
- Providing in-depth analysis and generating insights for management reporting
- Supporting finance departments in optimizing their way of working, data quality, and improving their various finance processes or controls
- Joining our team of finance professionals and being part of a world where finance departments are increasingly expected to provide added value in the strategic decision making of companies.
Your profile
- A minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in finance of a bank or an insurer.
- Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, BEGAAP) and financial reports (COREP/FINREP, Schema A/B) used in financial institutions (a plus)
- Prior experience with prudential frameworks: Basel 3 or Solvency II (QRTs, SFCR reports)
- Familiar with IFRS 17 accounting processes and reports (for insurers)
- Excellent excel skills, as well as experience with some accounting/tax software, budgeting tools, or other finance-related tools (an extra plus)
- A critical and analytical mindset, and the drive to excel in every challenge
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
