What you are going to do

As a Financial Accountant at Tradin Organic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and the integrity of accounting processes. You will collaborate closely with various finance teams, including Accounting, Business Control, and Financial Control, to support monthly and quarterly reconciliations, assist in the consolidation process, and contribute to reporting to the parent company.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review monthly accruals and prepayments for goods & expenses like insurance, marketing, and professional fees.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics-driven system entries impacting monthly results.
• Manage the fixed asset subledgers and prepare monthly asset movement schedules.
• Prepare and maintain IFRS 16 lease journals.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations for Dutch entities are complete and accurate.
• Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and collaborate with subsidiaries.
• Support the preparation of annual accounts under Dutch GAAP.

Tax & Compliance:

• Assist the finance manager with VAT and Intrastat declarations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare VAT balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process Improvement.
• Collaborate with the logistics and operations departments to identify and correct errors, driving process improvements.
• Support the operational effectiveness of key internal controls and assist in optimizing accounting processes related to logistics and operations.
• Systems Management.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of financial systems and processes.

Wie we zoeken voor deze vacature

This is you

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with financial ERP systems and logistics processes.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
