This three-day course is the final module on controlling skills. It briefly revisits topics addressed in prerequisite courses, and then dives in deep to present the full complexity of controlling in a manufacturing environment.
Participants will learn more about:
- Valuation principles related to supply chain
- Concepts like yield and capacity
- Costing and analytical concepts
- Calculation of variances
- Management reporting and OEE
- Performance and profitability analysis
- Activity based costing
- Definitions of common terminology like CPM, OPM, etc.
The theoretical parts of the course are supported by real examples, practical calculation exercises, and group reflection moments. The last two days are spent on one integrated case which covers a product costing model, budget model, actual and budget data for the P&L, production and purchase variances, P&L variance analysis, and ABC drill-down.
At the end of the training you will have a deep understanding of concepts in costing, variances, OEE and profitability analysis in production companies.
