What to Expect

You’ll explore different costing and valuation methods and learn when to apply each one within an ERP system. More importantly, you’ll learn to interpret variances, pinpoint their root causes, and identify actions to optimize financial performance. You’ll also gain a clear understanding of legal compliance requirements (IAS 2, BE GAAP) and how to avoid common pitfalls.

Through hands-on exercises, you’ll build a P&L which is optimized for KPI measurements. You’ll learn why to use which KPI for which part in the P&L, and commonly made mistakes.

Training Goals

By the end of the course, you should have a very clear understanding on COGS, variances, legal valuation requirements and how to generate insights from the P&L that can help you steer your company towards more profitability.
